These are my front cover and contents page for my preliminary task. 

 

I have decided to do my AS media coursework based on magazines. At first I didn't feel comfortable using Photoshop for my Preliminary task but I thought Id give it a go and try my best. The first part if research I did was to find some examples of School newspapers and magazines over the internet and below are some examples of what I found. I used these examples to try and base my preliminary task on but I added my know ideas like my own photos of myself and my friend Naomi.

 

 In this Magazine cover, I like the use of the 'fly' font because its shape is eye catching and large. I also like the use of the purple circle because it emphasises the text within it.

   I was aiming to make my school magazine cover similar to this one but I didn't have the knowledge of photoshop to add the effects that it uses.

         

Hi my name is Rebecca Hooper, and I am a student at Harris sixth form Crystal Palace and I am studying Media for A level. This is my blog about my Media coursework where you will see my updated research and planning of my Music magazine (Which I will be creating in Adobe InDesign and also Adobe Photoshop, which both consist of many features which will enable me to create my front cover and double page spread of my Magazine.)  My research and Planning will be recorded onto this blog so you will be able to see how my Music magazine has been created and improved over time.
